During your pregnancy, there are probably a lot of things you want. A nap, maybe, or an entire carton of cookie ice cream. One thing that’s probably not too high on your list is a regular workout. I’m definitely not here to lecture you on all the benefits of working out throughout pregnancy–you already hear those from your provider–but I am here to tell you where you can find therapeutic yoga classes that are going to build your flexibility while connecting you with a local community. And trust me, both are going to pay off big time as you get ready for your baby’s arrival. As a Missoula birth photographer, I spend a lot of time connecting with parents about the best local spots. Here’s where you can find prenatal yoga in Missoula!
Sistermoon Wellness is a private prenatal yoga service offered by Kendra Potter in Missoula. When Kendra isn’t busy leading these sessions, she’s out doing other important work as a birth doula. Her goal is to empower you so you can have the very best experience possible. If you want to join her for a community class, you can head over to her Zoom. She accepts donations through her Venmo, so you can send her some love once you’re done. If you can’t join her for live classes, you can message her for her pre-recorded sessions that you can do on your own time.

Ceretana Healing and Movement Arts is a pretty fabulous center that wants to make sure you have a supportive community in your life. Their Missoula prenatal yoga class is also known as MamaSpace. Not only are the teachers going to lead you through beneficial stretches, but they are also going to help you find other amazing women who are going to be there long after your baby arrives. In addition to prenatal yoga, they offer acupuncture, massage, and craniosacral therapy for your baby.
Vega Yoga is another independent online class made specifically for pregnancy. The classes are led by Raegan Spratt, a yoga instructor as well as a doula. She started out these courses to ensure her clients were ready for delivery. However, you don’t have to have a contract with her to benefit from her sessions. She has a class schedule and booking info on her website.
