They have earned The Gold Seal of Approval from The Joint Commission for their commitment to their patients. Their labor department is no exception. They let women take control of their deliveries and choose the plan that’s best for them. As a result, they have one of the lowest c-section rates around. They have also been named one of the safest hospitals in America thanks to their caregivers.
Services
With Community Hospital Birth Center, they will be there right from the beginning of your pregnancy. While they do offer traditional OB-GYNs, they give you the chance to work with a certified midwife if you’d prefer. Regardless of which one you choose, your provider is going to work with you to create the birth plan that’s perfect for you!
Once it’s time for labor, you can head into the hospital, where you will be taken to one of the six labor rooms. They pay lots of attention to the environment, creating a warm space designed to keep you comfortable through every second. You will also have all the tools you need to get through labor. The center has maternal-fetal medicine specialists trained to assist with high-risk deliveries.
Following your baby’s arrival, you will be moved to the Mother & Baby Rooms, where you will receive a newborn education. They also offer breastfeeding consultations so you feel ready for those first few feedings. If you want to break away from your recovery suite for a bit, you can head over to the Fireside Room, where you can relax near a fireplace on a cozy couch. For babies who need additional help, they offer a Level III NICU.
