About HandMADE Montana

HandMADE Montana was founded as a way to support creatives all across the state. This tradition was started by Carol Lynn Lapotka, an artist who started her career by working in marketing. In 2007, she moved out to Montana and started her own business, REcreate. This was her way to make clothing a bit more sustainable by taking dated styles and updating them to create unique styles you simply cannot find anywhere else.
These days, you can experience HandMADE in one of three ways: you can head to their website for styles delivered right to your house, you can visit them at their Polson storefront, or you can come out to one of their fairs, where you can shop directly from vendors.
Products
As a family photographer, I am absolutely wild about the kids’ clothing selection at HandMADE Montana! They offer upcycled pieces such as colorful rompers, cozy hoodies, and embellished pants. All of these options were created to save clothing from ending up in landfills while adding some unexpected styles to your wardrobe. Many of the pieces were even created to grow with your child, ensuring they live as long a second life as possible!
