There is a lot that goes into the perfect birth experience, from the pre-written plan to the atmosphere. The most important tool you can have, however, is a provider who knows how to keep your voice at the center of it all. If you are looking for someone who will provide you with evidence-based, whole-person support, you might just adore Heart and Hands Midwifery! As a Montana birth photographer, I am lucky enough to work with some of the best birthing experts out there. Here is why I always recommend this practice.

Heart and Hands Midwifery was started by Honey Newton back in 2014 as a way to provide fully personalized care throughout every stage of life. It would be hard to find someone more qualified for this role than Honey. Before she got her start as a midwife, she worked as a biologist in Colorado. After making both professional and physical moves, she now works to run this practice while serving as a lead Lecturer for Gender in the Graduate School of Nursing at Gonzaga. Along with her team, she offers exceptional and inclusive care for every kind of family.

When you select Heart and Hands Midwifery for your pregnancy, you can start receiving care before you even get that positive pregnancy test! This group offers preconception care that will help you as you prepare to grow your family. From there, you will have regular prenatal care all the way through the delivery and postpartum stage. Throughout every appointment, you are going to feel like a priority. They will take all the time you need to prepare you for your labor, whether they are giving you advice, listening to your concerns, or helping you find the resources to be ready.
The team delivers out of The Birth Center in Whitefish, giving you a relaxed, home-like environment for your ideal delivery. Those who would prefer a water birth will have access to a large jacuzzi tub throughout labor. Following your birth, they will provide you with several postpartum visits to ensure you are on the road to recovery!

Your care with Heart and Hands Midwifery doesn’t have to end once your baby arrives! This practice offers well-person care for people of all ages and genders. They can be there for things like birth control and family planning, mental health support, lab work, routine well-child visits, and more. This is going to be the practice for your entire family through every season of life!
If you have been looking for a place that will give you the birth of your dreams, I think you are really going to love Heart and Hands Midwifery. This excellent practice is dedicated to putting you back at the center of your care!
